Invention of thermostat has allowed the harnessing of energetic devices, and initiated the systematic thinking of control technology, feedback cycles, and in the end led to the bifurcation of pure sensorial and pure motored devices: components of action, measuring and control, which until today recombine to an undisputed system of governance. On the domain of the model disposition methods of resources of a given contingency are tested against a model of governance rooted in the working of the thermostat.
Diffusion as a tool: The recording cameras for the movies that reflect diffusion can be transformed in generating components. By shifting two recording cameras of different locations, a spline is moving, which is defined by four points of two intersections of the outer edge surface. If this is repeated for every camera moving in different speed, every single spline can be connected to a volume, which is following the movement of the camera. Therefore, within the shifting of the cameras, changing towers are turning in a curve around the two cameras.
based on the phenomenon of the avalanche a measuring an scanning tool arised. an avalanche is a destructive and frightening event that we usually cannot connect with something useful. but the internal procedures of an avalanche and its way of movement contains a lot of potential concerning a dynamic or reproducing structures.
like in [ nearly ] all objects there are inner demands and need which meet outside influences. the generic way to handle is to change the determining factor as much as possible and then realise the project.
The main point in the project shift is a machine that simulates dematerialization on given sight conditions. The ingredients are wooden blocks that slide in specific conditions, a raster to measure the shift development and so called error points where site-conditions have influence on the behavior of the blocks. The outcome is a test between a frozen phase of movement and a connection of different drift-levels. (From 00 m to -14 m) The measurement raster got constructive and is the fixture for the penetrating bodies.
